Safety Measures

Dear InBalance Family,

This global pandemic has affected every single person. As times are evolving for the better, our doors are open again to help the community recover. We are accepting routine visits and new patients.  We continue to follow the guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and OSHA and are implementing the following steps to ensure we all stay safe and healthy:

  • Face Coverings
    • Face coverings/masks required for all individuals (ages 2 and up) for the total duration of the time you are in the clinic.
    • All staff and practitioner will be wearing a mask.
    • All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:
      • Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material
      • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
      • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
      • Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the individual to remain hands-free
    • At this time, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas, and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.
    • We protect you and you protect us.

  • We will check your temperature with a non-contact forehead infrared thermometer upon entering the clinic. If your temperature is above 99°F, but below 100°F, we will evaluate on a case by case basis. If your temperature is above 100°F, we ask that you return home and seek medical consult from your primary care physician.

  • Practice physical distancing in the waiting area by requiring attendees to be separated by 6 feet.

  • We will provide access to hand sanitizer in the waiting area.

  • We perform regular daily sanitization of all high-contact surfaces, including door knobs, treatment tables, chairs, pens, clipboards, etc.

  • We have added air purifiers in each of the treatment rooms with True HEPA filters manufactured by 3M that captures 99.97% of unwanted airborne particles

  • Our current hours here.

Feeling off?
We are not equipped to handle COVID-19 disease in the acute form. If you feel any symptoms out of the ordinary, including fatigue, shortness of breath, cough, fever, and unusual digestive issues, please contact your primary care provider or insurance provider for a Telehealth evaluation or register for testing here. If you prefer a natural way to treat COVID-19 using individualized Chinese Medicine herbal prescription, please contact us to get a referral.

Who is at Higher Risk?
The high risk categories for COVID-19 include people over the age of 65 and people especially with underlying chronic health conditions such as heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, or have weakened immune systems. If you or someone in your household falls into any of these categories, please strictly limit your contact with other people and stay home when possible. If you need to cancel an appointment because you or someone in your household falls into a high risk category, please do so. We will waive the late cancellation fee if cancelled within 24 hours of your next appointment.

We are always committed to the health and safety of everyone who walks through our doors. We look forward to seeing you all soon, even with most of our face covered!

In Health,

InBalance AcuPT Team
